Temecula Engagement Session at Two Sisters Farm by Damaris Mia Photography

My sweet and wonderful friend, Vanessa of Vanessa Michelle Co., referred Rosa & Eric to me. They were such a joy to work with -- I can only imagine how much fun we'll be having on their wedding day! Rosa & Eric wanted a farm/ranch setting for their engagement session so we headed out to the beautiful Two Sisters Farm in Temecula. It was my first time shooting in a setting like this and also first time shooting in Temecula so I was extra excited! We had a blast together and I'm looking forward to seeing these two again in April!

I was so excited when Jane reach out to me to photograph her 2016 Sacramento wedding because she was one of my sister-in-law's bridesmaids earlier this year! I just love it when bridesmaids from past weddings I photographed want me to document their wedding day as well!

For their engagement session, they wanted to go out to Big Bear. I was thrilled for this because I've been wanting to photograph a Big Bear engagement session. We had so much fun and they make me even more excited for their wedding day! Hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!

A few days ago, I had the privilege of photographing Jonathan & Sarah's engagement session in beautiful San Juan Capistrano. This engagement session was extra special because they happen to be they are the first couple to hire me to be their wedding photographer since my special announcement in the fall of last year (where I announced that I was getting back into shooting weddings again).

I simply adored this San Juan Capistrano engagement session. I had photographed here before but never walked around and explored SJC like we did during this session. We walked around the Los Rios Historic District and found many nooks and crannies to shoot it which makes it such a great spot for an engagement session. We laughed and just had so much fun!

I am really looking forward for their January wedding at The Summit House in Fullerton! It is going to be so beautiful!

A San Juan Capistrano Engagement Session

Several weeks ago, I blogged this engagement session but the digital version (which got featured on Elizabeth Ann Designs). I brought my film camera along to this shoot and sadly, didn't take as many photos as I wanted to (shot like 20-something frames of 36). But I really had fun with it and love the way the photos turned out. A little grainery than I would have liked but I'm still learning :)

When I found out that Carmela was getting this gorgeous Adrianna Papell gown to wear for her's & Lemi's upcoming engagement party, I just knew that I had to do another shoot with them. I've been wanting to shoot at Balboa Park for a really long time now and finally had the perfect willing candidates :). The thing I love most about Balboa Park is that there are so many different places to shoot and we had such a blast! I also shot a roll of film, which you can see here.

I'm really excited for my brother and Carmela. They truly make such a great couple and I know that my brother will be loved and taken care of by an amazing woman. I can't wait for their upcoming engagement party which is going to be beyond beautiful :) Anyway, here are the photos that I'm just dying to share!
